This course is an update seminar for individuals who have completed the 3-4 day Federal Appropriations Law Workshop. Those with some operational understanding of the Federal budget process would benefit from this case law update. The focus is for experienced people who want to catch up with topics and changes that emerged over the last year or two.
Objectives:
At the end of the workshop participants should be able to:

covered in Volume III
- Be familiar with the legal framework surrounding
Federal Financial Budgets
- Understand the legal limitations of Purpose, Time,
and Amount
- Be able to identify special limiting language in
Appropriation bills
- Understand the role of the Comptroller General
- Be familiar with recent legislation pertaining to
Federal Appropriations
- Grasp the key principles of Appropriations Law
- Discuss trends in Appropriations restrictions and
requirements
